Skills Obtained: Knowledge, awareness, issues public safety faces in disasters, world-wide best and worst practices on several social media platforms. Course Description: This course examines 10 disasters that have taken place world-wide since 2001 and extracts the best and worst social media practices from them. Participants will gain familiarity with several social media platforms and an extensive film library is on the NextGenTraining YouTube channel for them to refer back to and aide in teaching these lessons to their agencies.
